Photographing BP's Wind Farm in Wichita, Kansas
Hey Homies,
I had the honor to shoot some photographs for the BP Wind Farm in Wichita, Kansas this past summer and the awesome folks at Wonderful Machine wrote an article about it! It was one of my favorite types of jobs - one where I got to work with real professionals as my subjects. I told Brandi, the person who interviewed me for the article, “Actors and models are great, but nothing beats an actual expert at what you’re shooting.”
There were a lot of challenges, but I had an absolute blast. I really enjoy agricultural photography and industrial photography projects like this. Since I grew up on a farm and later worked as a firefighter, I really connected with the rural elements of this shoot and the hard-working people I was photographing.
